Designing
For Dollars is back! We are now accepting new submissions.
Rules for Submissions:
No
purchase necessary. Employees of DesignNotes.com, its parents,
affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies,
participating retailers, any other individual or company involved
in the development or execution of this submission and the
immediate family members and/or those living in the same household
of each are not eligible. All applicable laws and regulations
apply.The design entry must be an original design, not previously
published, not patented or patent pending, and must have been
built and tested. There must be at least two submissions within
a month in order to qualify for the $100.00 monthly drawing.
By
your submission, you agree to abide by the rules of the Designing
for Dollars contest.
Submission
Instructions:
Prepare
your entry as an email submission or by mail via postal carrier.
Typical submissions must consist of three main parts: 1) Author
Information, 2) Design Title and Description, and 3) Annotated
Schematic or Flow Chart Diagram. You can also include a
Parts List and other Notes to help clarify your entry. Email

All
submissions must be made by the 15th of the month. All
submissions made after that date will be entered into the
following month's contest. There must be at least 2 entries
for us to run the contest. If there is only 1 entry in a month's
time, we will hold that entry until another contestant has
submitted a project.

Prepare
your circuit or software title and description as either email
text or as a Word attachment.
3)
Annotated Schematic or Flow Chart Diagram
Send
your completely annotated (part numbers and labels) schematic
or flow chart as an attachment (for submission by email) or
on a 3.5" floppy/CD (for submission by mail) in the following
formats - GIF,JPG, BMP or PDF.

your parts list as either part of the email text or part of
the Word attachment organized per the following example:

Received
Entries:
Upon
receipt, your submission will be placed in the Contest
Entries section and in its proper category in the Design
Notes Archives. Peer votes received by the end of the
calendar month will determine that month's Designing for Dollars
winner. If you are a winner, we will notify you by email and
mail you a check at the end of the following month for $100.
