Introduction
The FAQs included in the Engineer's Companion are the result of years of
compilation of the opinions of hundreds of engineers, in all areas of the
profession, and all over the world. Their opinions were broadcast to the
world originally via Usenet, which is now for most engineers at best
unknown and at worst fallen into chaos to the point of being useless.
Their ideas, however, live on. You see the subjects in the navigation
bar above. And like any good FAQ, these are open-source. Mature though
they may be, you can suggest changes and they will be made.
Ron Graham's Rhetoric for Engineers
...version 2.0 is available FREE!
All you have to do is give your name and e-mail address
and you can have it! If you want it now, send e-mail

Are you having trouble with any of this?
- Hiring the right people?
- Training new people?
- Motivating people?
- Finding and developing ideas?
- Entering a new market?
- Communicating with customers?
- Finding out what data is telling you?
- Getting technology to work with you?
- Bouncing back from mistakes?
- Anticipating problems?
The solutions to all these problems are based in rhetoric -- the art of argument. The free e-book will help you, but if it's not enough, let ME help you. I'm available for consultation, and I've got experience in all these areas. But don't take my word for it. Look over the book first. If the book doesn't give you some idea of what I can do, just ignore me. But if the book has some value, imagine what the writer can give!
Ron Graham's start me up! blog

a new site and restarted. The e-book version of the old blog has been
completed! If you contact me, I will hook you up with a FREE copy!
Have you ever wondered
- Where do ideas come from?
- Why some people move on an idea and others don't?
- How new companies raise money?
- How prototypes are developed?
- Whether all new companies look like the ones spotlighted in the media?
- What history lessons the new business owner must learn?
- What engineers know that can help a small company?
The answers to these questions have been the study of my life for several years. My blog addresses these questions.
